Links, not copies
KlipVault keeps the link, the title and your notes. It never downloads or re-hosts a video. Even the thumbnails point back to where they came from.
Quiet until you press play
Nothing from YouTube or Facebook loads while you browse your library. A video you open and decide not to watch isn't reported to anyone.
Yours alone
Every item belongs to your account, and the database itself refuses to show it to anyone else. Connected accounts are stored encrypted.
Leave whenever you like
Export everything as JSON or CSV at any time. Disconnecting an account never deletes what it brought in.
FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
What can I save?
Any link. YouTube and Facebook videos also play inside KlipVault.
Everything else — an Instagram post, a TikTok, an article — is saved, searchable and filed like the rest, and opens on its own site when you want it.
Does KlipVault download the videos?
No. It keeps the link, the title, the thumbnail's address and your own notes. The video stays where it was posted and plays from there.
Can it sync my Instagram or TikTok saves?
No. Neither Instagram nor TikTok lets other apps read your saved posts, so there's nothing for KlipVault to sync from. You can still paste or share their links in, one at a time or a thousand at once.
How does the Facebook import work?
With a small extension for Chrome on your computer. Open one of your Saved collections on Facebook, scroll through it, and press Import.
The extension reads the links already on the page. It doesn't scroll, click or sign in for you. It isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet.
Is it safe to connect my YouTube account?
KlipVault asks YouTube for read-only access: it can see your playlists and liked videos, and it can't post, delete or change anything. The key is stored encrypted, and you can disconnect at any time without losing what was imported.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in your phone's browser. To save from other apps, add KlipVault to your home screen on Android and it appears in the share sheet; on iPhone, a Shortcut puts it there.
Can I take my library with me?
Yes. Export everything as JSON or CSV whenever you like. A JSON export can be imported back with its folders, tags and favourites.
Why is there a waitlist?
