The extension doesn't see the page
When the browser extension says it isn't connected, can't save a page, or offers no import.
- Not connected to your library yet. Click the KlipVault icon and press Connect with KlipVault: KlipVault opens and connects it. Or, in KlipVault, Settings → Browser extension, Connect this browser.
- Paused after an update. Chrome asks once to let the extension reach app.klipvault.app. Allow it in Chrome's extensions page, then connect as above.
- That capture token is not valid. The key was removed or mistyped. Make a new one in KlipVault and paste it into the extension's settings again.
- This page cannot be saved. Browser pages such as a new tab or the extension list aren't web pages, so there is nothing to save.
- Could not reach your library. Check your connection and try again in a moment.
No Import button
Import to KlipVault appears only on a page it can import: Facebook's Saved, Instagram's All posts or a collection, or a YouTube list such as Watch later. On such a page the extension's icon shows a small dot.
- On Instagram's Saved page, open All posts or a collection first.
- A YouTube Mix can't be imported; save its videos one by one.
- If the dot doesn't appear on a page that should have it, reload the page.
