Save from your phone

Share a video, post or link from any app on your phone straight into KlipVault, on Android or iPhone.

Set this up once, and saving from your phone is the Share button in any app: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, your browser. Both ways start on the same page: Settings, then Your phone 1.

On Android

  1. Open your library in Chrome on the phone. Its address is on the Settings page, with a Copy button.

  2. Tap ⋮ and choose Add to Home screen. KlipVault now sits on your home screen like an app.

  3. In any app, tap Share and choose KlipVault.

  4. KlipVault opens and saves it at once: it says Saved 4, or Already saved. Open your library takes you to it.

On iPhone

An iPhone doesn't let a website appear in its share sheet, so here you make a small Shortcut that sends what you share to KlipVault.

  1. On Settings, Your phone, under iPhone, press Make a key and copy it. The key is shown only once.

  2. In the Shortcuts app, make a new Shortcut with the action “Get contents of URL”, and turn on Show in Share Sheet. Open Show the settings on KlipVault's page for what to fill in: the URL, the method POST, the header with your key, and the body 6.

  3. In any app, tap Share and choose your Shortcut.
