Folders and subfolders

Each section has its own folders: Videos, Links and Posts. Folders can hold subfolders, up to five levels deep. Anything not in a folder is Unfiled.

Make a folder

• On a computer, point at Folders in the sidebar and press +. In a new library, press Create your first folder.
• On a phone, open Folders in the bar at the bottom and press New folder at the end of the list.
• Every folder picker ends in New folder…, which makes the folder and puts the item straight in.

Press a folder's ⋯, or right-click it on a computer, or hold it on a phone 1.

• New subfolder makes a folder inside this one.
• Rename, or F2 on a computer.
• Colour and icon… gives it one of 20 colours and an icon. Automatic guesses an icon from the name.
• Pin to top puts it in Pinned, at the top of the sidebar, and first in the phone's folder tray.
• Move to… puts it inside another folder, or at the top level. Its subfolders and items come with it.

Put a save into a folder

• On a computer, drag a card or row onto a folder in the sidebar. Tick several first to move them together. Undo appears for 10 seconds.
• In an item's details, the Folder section has Move to folder.
• Right-click an item and choose Move to.
• On a phone, hold an item until it is selected, then move your finger: the folders slide up. Drop it on one.

Delete a folder

Delete asks first and says what will happen. Only the folder goes: the items in it become Unfiled, and its subfolders move up a level.
