Give a link its own cover
Upload a picture, take a screenshot or use the site's own picture, and crop it to the card.
A link shows its site's logo until you give it a picture of your own. The cover is cropped to the card's shape, and it shows on the card, in the details and in the Folders view.
Add a cover to a saved link
Open the link's details. On a computer, click its card, or its ⋯. On a phone, tap the card.
On a computer, press Add cover on the picture 2. On a phone, tap Add cover in the Cover row.
Choose Upload image…, Take screenshot… or Use the site's picture 3. You can also drop a picture onto the open details, or paste one with Ctrl+V.
Drag the picture to place it, and zoom with the slider or the mouse wheel 4. The card shows exactly what is in the box.
Press Save cover.
Where the picture can come from
- Upload image… opens your files. On a phone, that includes your photos and the camera.
- Take screenshot… is on a computer only. Your browser asks which screen, window or tab to take, every time, and takes one picture of it.
- Use the site's picture reads the preview picture the link's page offers. Not every site has one.
Add one while you save
When you save a web link, the dialog has a Cover field under Tags. Take a screenshot, upload a picture, or paste or drop one, then press Use as cover. After saving, the dialog says With your cover.
Change or remove it
Press Change cover on the picture and choose a new one. Remove cover, in the same menu, brings back the picture the link had before.
