Save pages with the browser extension

Add the KlipVault extension, which connects to your library by itself, and save the page you are on in one click.

The extension saves the page you are looking at without copying its link. It works in Chrome, Edge and Brave on a computer.

Add it, and it connects itself

  1. In KlipVault, open Settings, then Browser extension, and press Add to Chrome 1. Or open KlipVault on the Chrome Web Store directly.

  2. On the store page, choose Add to Chrome. In Edge, allow extensions from other stores when it asks; Brave installs it as Chrome does.

  3. KlipVault opens again by itself and connects the extension to your library. The page says Connected, and that's it.

  4. Pin KlipVault to the toolbar, so its icon is always there.

If it isn't connected

  • Already have the extension? On Settings → Browser extension, press Connect this browser. Or click the KlipVault icon and press Connect with KlipVault.
  • Had it before November 2026? Chrome may pause it once after the update and ask to allow app.klipvault.app. Allow it; that is how it connects by itself.
  • Another browser, or connecting by hand: open Connect it by hand instead, copy the Library address and press Make a key and copy it 2. In the extension's settings, open Connect by hand instead, paste both (Library URL and Capture token) and press Save and connect.

Save a page

  1. On the page you want, click the KlipVault icon, or press Ctrl+Shift+S (on a Mac, Command+Shift+S).

  2. Check What is this? and add a Note if you like. Text you selected on the page is already in the note. For an article or shop, you can tick Use this page as the cover.

  3. Press Save. The extension says Saved, or Already saved, and closes.

On a Facebook or Instagram Saved list, or a YouTube playlist, the extension offers Import to KlipVault instead, to bring in the whole list.
