Save a YouTube playlist

A YouTube playlist link can come in as more than a link: KlipVault saves its videos and makes a playlist of them in the same order.

   Copy the playlist's address from YouTube: the page that ends in playlist?list=… . Paste it into Save a link.

   KlipVault looks the playlist up and shows its title, channel and number of videos. Change the Playlist name if you like.

   Press Save N videos to a playlist. When it is done, it says how many came in; Open playlist takes you there.

• The videos go to Videos, unfiled, and into the new playlist.
• Up to 500 videos come in at a time. Import again to add the rest.
• Saved it before? The card says Already in KlipVault and offers Update, which adds only the new videos.
• Rather keep it as one link? Press Save as a link instead.

A video from a playlist

A link to one video that is playing inside a playlist saves that video. Afterwards, KlipVault offers Also save the whole playlist.

What can't come in by link

YouTube doesn't let apps read Watch later, Liked videos or Mixes by link, so those save as a link. Watch later and Liked videos can come in with the browser extension: open the list on YouTube and press Import to KlipVault. A private playlist can't be read either.
