Share a folder

Share a folder to let people watch everything in it and save copies for themselves. The folders inside it are shared too. Only you rename it, delete it or decide who is in it.

   Open the folder's ⋯, or right-click it, and choose Share… 1. On a phone, the folders are in the Folders tab.

   Type their @username or name, pick them, and press Invite. They accept it in their notifications.

Pick what each person may do: Can watch, Can add (add videos, and take out the ones they added) or Can edit (take out any). What they add goes into your library, marked with who added it. What they take out goes to your Archive, and your notifications offer Restore. To let anyone with a link see it, switch on its public page in the same dialog.

What they see

• The folder appears under Shared with you in their sidebar, or in the Folders tab on a phone.
• They can play its videos, open its links, and save one item with Save to my library in its ⋯.
• Save a copy makes the folders their own, with everything in them. Pressed again later, as Update my copy, it adds only what is new.
