Carry on where you stopped

The red bar shows how far you got. Videos start again from there, and you can mark them watched yourself.

KlipVault remembers how far you watched a YouTube, Facebook or TikTok video. A red bar along the bottom of its picture shows how far 1; a video you finished says Watched.

  • A video counts as watched at nine tenths of the way, or at its end.
  • The bar shows on cards, list rows, playlist rows and the queue.
  • Instagram doesn't tell KlipVault how far you are, so an Instagram video has no part-way bar: it counts as watched after 5 seconds on screen.
  • A part-way bar needs the video's length. A Facebook or TikTok video gets one the first time it plays.

Starting again where you stopped

Open a video you stopped part-way and it starts from there. For a few seconds it says Started at 4:12, with Start over to go back to the beginning. Reels and the Reels feed always start from the beginning.

Mark as watched, or not

  • Right-click a video, or open its ⋯, and choose Mark as watched or Mark as unwatched. Undo appears for a moment.
  • In a video's details, the eye button at the bottom does the same 2.
  • On a computer, tick several and use Watched in the bar that appears.
